1.How do I get started? |

First go to the Be a Star Tutoringsm Web Site |

If you have already registered on the site, enter your username and password and click "Login." |

If you have not registered on the site, fill out the registration form (the red fields are required)

After you create a login name and password, you will be taken to a select sessions page where you can select a tutoring package and will need to pay for the number of hours for which you would like our tutoring services. We guarantee our services and will refund any portion of the package that you do not use after deducting the hours of tutoring already used

You can then either schedule a tutoring session or can return at a different time and login using your username and password to schedule a session at your convenience. |

After scheduling a session, you will be sent an invitation to join a tutoring session at the time and date you requested. You will have to click on the URL link and login at the scheduled time and date and you will find the tutor waiting for you. |

The first time you use the tutoring session, you will have to check your system for audio and other settings so you should allow some time to do so. The whiteboard technology that we use is easy and intuitive to use and you will work interactively with the tutor on a whiteboard on which you both can write. You will also talk with the tutor through your speaker headphone set so you need to ensure that the sound card on your computer is working. |

2.How do I purchase the Be A Star Tutoringsm service? |

Go to Be a Star webpage and first sign up if you have not done so already. After providing your contact information, you will create a login name and password which will allow you to access our site in all future visits. After logging in, you will be able to select from a variety of tutoring packages ranging from one hour to 40 hours of tutoring services. You will then be taken to our secure payment portal which will accept payments by major credit cards. |

You will then be able to select tutoring sessions as long as you have a credit balance in your account. Once the balance is used up, you can update your account to add more hours to your account.

3.Is my school a Be A Star Tutoringsm client institution? |
| |
|
We will update this information with a list of schools and colleges that are subscribing to our services. If your school has provided you with a username and password, you can use that to login to our system and then follow the instructions that prompt you to enter the required information.

4. What are the techincal requirements of the computer system that I need to have to use the tutoring services? |
| |
|
You need the following:
* PC/Laptop with a Celeron /P3 processor from
INTEL ( or equivalent processor from AMD.)
* 256 Mb RAM ( going upto 512K), 60 Gb HDD,
* built in video/sound card
* high speed internet connection (DSL or cable)
We recommend the following:
* headphone with microphone
* digital pad with pen
* anti-virus and spyware
software installed on your system.
